Isonzo

World War One has arrived in the mountains of the Italian Front stunning and deadly in equal measure. Inspired by the two year conflict for control of Isonzo river valley and Alps during World War One, Isonzo elevates its place in the WW1 Games Series, figuratively and physically.

The new Offensive game mode will put you right in middle of key historical offensives that took place on the Italian Front – lead the charge across stunning Italian landscapes on the attack and prepare for your defense against a battleground that is dynamic.

Every detail is recreated using research and field trips starting with the uniforms and the huge arsenal of weapons. Take your foes out of the way in the open with mortars, artillery and air support and finish the task in close proximity with bayonets. Watch out for the dreaded poison gas…
